Two cars for a dollar to be raffled at BVI Spring Fest

PRESS RELEASE – This Friday and Saturday, the two cars for a dollar raffle, along with six assorted prizes, will be won at the annual BVI Spring Fest taking place at Cane Garden Bay over the weekend.

The first ever two-car raffle will be drawn between 12pm to 1am on Friday (March 3) and Saturday (March 4) just before the main act.

Ticket holders are encouraged to be alert and answer their phones, which are key in being eligible to win.

The game will be carried live on Tola Radio VI, and via social media live stream through Tola Radio Facebook page, explained Owner and Manager of Tola Radio VI Floyd ‘Heritage’ Burnett.

He also expressed gratitude to the many who participated in the initiative over the months.

“We really would like to thank the public for their patience, support, patriotism for getting behind the brand, and supporting the promotions,” he informed.

“Tickets will be on sale up to the last minute.”

Location

This week, the team will be located in the Bobby’s/Bolo’s parking lot.

On Tuesday (February 28), they will be at Hazim’s – one of the main locations for the BVI Spring Fest tickets – from 12 pm for tickets specials.

19 winners

So far, there have been 19 winners of cash, gas, grocery, television, phones, watches, I-pads, trips, Camcorders, bicycles, spa treatments, and power tools, and more.

Each car is valued at $17,500 and a minimum of 10 tickets have to be purchased to enter at $ 1 per ticket.

There is also a ticket hotline 541-3606 for interested persons who may want to place orders.

The vehicles to be won will have one year of insurance from Caribbean Insurers Limited.

And, if someone in the US Virgin Islands (USVI) wins, he or she would receive free shipping to that territory.

The game is in partnership with Burke’s Garage and the Association to Preserve Virgin Islands Heritage.
