Two women robbed at gunpoint

Gunmen have robbed two women of a white motor scooter in Fat Hog’s Bay, Tortola.

Members of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF), however, managed to recover the motorcycle from bushes in the Fat Hog’s Bay area.

Details of the armed robbery, which took place a few days ago, are yet to be ascertained.

But usually credible sources told BVI News Online that the incident happened when the two women, who are hotel workers from Indonesia, arrived at their Fat Hog’s Bay residence.

They were surprised by two gunmen who took the scooter away.

The matter was reported to the RVIPF, which is continuing its investigation.
