Unsettled weather forecast for another 24 hours

The Department of Disaster Management (DDM) is advising residents and visitors to brace for more showers in the BVI on Tuesday, November 6.

Citing forecasts from the Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Services, the DDM said unsettled weather will be produced across the islands throughout the next 24 hours.

“Possible rainfall total for the forecast period is 10 to 20 mm or 0.40 to 0.80 inch,” the DDM said.

The territory has been experiencing bouts of relatively heavy rains since the last few days with a considerable amount of rain dumped on the territory on Monday.

Monday’s rains caused minor landslides in at least one area of the territory.
