The man held yesterday in relation to a gun murder has been released pending further investigations, said the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF).
The man was taken into custody in relation to the murder of 30-year-old Ashburn Dawson in the vicinity of the Sunday Morning Well in Road Town on the night of March 10.
He was held while members of the RVIPF’s Major Crime Team, supported by the Immediate Response Unit, executed two search warrants.
The family of the late Dawson said the funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, April 1, adding that further details will be disclosed.
