UPDATE: Two injured in Fish Bay shooting

 

Another person was reported injured in Tuesday evening’s shooting incident which took place in the vicinity of Fish Bay.

This brings the total number of injured person from that incident to two.

Police, in a brief statement issued following the incident, said they responded to a shooting incident at the DHL office in Fish Bay shortly after 7 pm  on October 17.

“One person was injured and has been transported to the [Dr D Orlando Smith Hospital] for treatment,” police said, adding in a follow-up statement that another person was reported injured.

The full extent of their injuries have not been disclosed.

Investigations remain active at this time.

BVI News will bring more information on this breaking news story as it becomes available.

    Would never. All jokes aside, it’s 2 person that were injured. Too many guns on the street and Too many tv gangstas. Put them on a real battlefield and they wouldn’t know their @$$ from their face.

    I am reporting that 7 men, 5 women, 9 children, 4 dogs and a cat were killed in the incident Tune into my newsroom (ie my cell phone when the police don’t have it) for all the sensational news that is not censored by the truth!

    Without guns they would use machetes. Without machetes they would use rock stones. The problem is the people more than the guns. Let some residents and business owners have certain calibre guns legally and watch the crime rate drop fast.

    None sense. Have a look at the tourism statistics for New York City, Chicago, other states, England/UK and others. Such violence does not slow or impede tourism traffic..

    It is the negative media that does. As, tourist knows that they are usually not the targets of local gunplay.

    The fear mongering of the uniformed does nothing to help the violence.

    Let’s become proactive instead and do something tangible to spread the need to reduce gun violence, as guns are here to stay, rather than being couched analyst.
