Verna Smith running At-Large for Progressives United

Verna Smith

The number of candidates in Progressives United is steadily increasing as the party has made another addition to the team.

Verna Smith is the latest addition and was announced on Monday as the Julian Fraser-led party’s second At-Large candidate.

Progressives United now has six candidates contesting the elections. A party needs at least seven elected members to form government.

The other candidates on the party’s ticket for the February 25 general elections are businesswoman Stephanie Brewley who is contesting the First Electoral District, party leader Fraser who is seeking re-election in the Third District, and former legislator Dr Vincent Scatliffe who will be vying to re-take his seat in Fourth Electoral District.

Former Customs officer, Dirk Walters will be contesting the Fifth District while businessman Rajah Smith is contesting an At-Large seat.

Because we are going to have a coalition government a party doesn’t really need 13 candidates. It will be a waste of time and money

The esteemed is a steaming pile of nothingness. Nothing to offer except old talk. He had to align himself with the green team because he is hoping for a job after elections. But I got news for him and Prankster Fraud Cloine, VIP not forming the Government and they will both go back to their usual ranting and trying to tear down anything Myron and NDP. They care nothing about the BVI.

I am a little concern. These Women is not playing anymore. Understand, they may bicker, have their cat fights and throw blows but at the end of the day, they are going to regroup and handle S**t. The timid Women syndrome is OVER. There are to many of them comming out and taking their stand.
