As they sail by the burning pit at Cox Heath and drive thru s**t in Road Town!

  2. Rubber Duck says:

Exactly what we need to encourage visitors who want to come and see what hell is going to look like. Brilliant move.

  3. backward says:

Where is the credit and debit card machine and when you do have one and a single tourist is entering the territory you are asking them to go to an ATM because you wont accept less than $20 on a card. Banks need to look into this

  4. Sam the man says:

Yet another nail in the Tourism coffin, great idea lets tax visitors even more – pretending it’s for stuff we should be doing anyway but can’t because the Finance minister has brought us near to bankruptcy!

  5. transparent says:

I look forward to reading about the detailed (budgeted) environmental projects which the government will be funding with this tax. Surely they have those right?? Oh no wait, this money will just evaporate into thin air (just like the tourists if we keep squeezing every penny from them).

  6. Lc says:

If you want less of something then tax it

  7. Non-believer says:

The tourism tax should be called the “white tax”. Only people that pay it are tourists and non-belongers. Call it what it is. The racism of the BVI is never hidden. Out for display for all to see.
