C&W sponsors BVI FinTech conference
Cable & Wireless (C&W) Business partnered with BVI Finance to host the first British Virgin Islands FinTech Immersion Conference that attracted some 150 participants comprised of students, along with public and private sector stakeholders.
The two-day workshop was held at the H Lavity Stoutt Community College from July 23 to July 24, was facilitated by Associate Professor Keith Carter of the National University of Singapore (Computing) and author of ‘Actionable Intelligence: A guide to achieving results with big data fast!’ Among the topics covered in the workshop sessions were: FinTech Strategy for Business and Government, FinTech companies and their business models, strategy development and best-case scenarios, and actionable intelligence eco-system for data-driven decision-making.
