Draft Rules

Teams which finished the 2017-2018 season with the lowest score or record will be granted numbers one, two, and three in the draft pick selection as part of a system designed to display fairness in the competition.

While participating in the draft system is not mandatory, it is highly recommended for all teams be involve in the system to ensure a fair and equal opportunity in the league. Additionally, drafted players have the exclusive benefit of being traded at the discretion of the league committee.

The 2019 draft date is expected to be announced in the upcoming days.

This competition while governed by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) rules is endorsed by the BVI Basketball Federation and has its own by-laws and governing committee.
