61-year-old man found dead at Gene Hill
The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force is said to be probing the circumstances surrounding the death of a 61-year-old local whose body was found at his residence on Friday, February 28.
The man has been identified as Carlton Pickering.
Police Information Officer Akia Thomas told BVI News on Friday: “I can confirm a report received of a deceased at his residence at Gene Hill at approximately 10:47 am.”
“Investigations are ongoing in this matter,” she added.

Where does it say that he was not found by a family member? 61 is not that old so, unless he had an illness/disability, he was young enough to look after himself. Not even reached retirement age.
Illness/Death does not discriminate if you are 16 or 60. One does not have to be sick to die, one can go to sleep and die in their sleep.
