ARREST Blotter: 3 charged

The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) is reporting three arrests between April 15 and 21.

In its latest arrest blotter, the RVIPF listed those persons and their charges as follows:

Drug importation

Police arrested and charged 22-year-old Jamaican, Jillany Ciconny Earl Mullings, for the importation of drugs.  He was arrested on April 18.

Assault 

On April 19, police arrested and charged 41-year-old Vincentian, Alex Cupid, for assault causing actual bodily harm.

Theft

Police also arrested Ivan Govia of no fixed place of abode on April 19. He is charged with theft.

    Why is the nationality of individual in criminal activity here is Tortola be publish in the news?

    Yes they always state the demographics of the person….age, race, place of birth etc..
