BVICCHA annual general meeting 2018
PRESS RELEASE: The BVI Chamber of Commerce and Hotel Association (BVICCHA) is a not-for-profit organization whose focus is to advocate for and promote a business-friendly environment for any business to start and grow in the Virgin Islands.
The BVICCHA has scheduled its Annual General meeting, under the theme Stronger Business = National Progress, on 16 October 2018 at 12 p.m. at The Moorings Restaurant.
At this meeting, there will be elections for a new Board of Directors. The officers are Chairman, President of Business, President of Hospitality, Vice President of Business, Vice President of Hospitality and Treasurer and 10 other Directors.
Effective 27 August 2018, a call for nominations of directors is open for persons interested in contesting for these positions.
Persons eligible for office must be full members (membership dues paid) of the association and complete a nomination form filled out by the nominee and two full members nominating that person.
The form should be submitted to the Chamber’s office or via email to [email protected] by 14 September 2018.
The chamber is striving to be the leading voice for all BVI businesses.
We are looking for persons passionate about business to join us to support a vision for a stronger economy and to access benefits such as industry-related workshops, networking, a B2B discount program and a platform for influencing government policies.
There will be an extraordinary general meeting on 11 September 2018 at 5:30 p.m. at the Village Cay Conference Room to share the new strategic direction of the BVICCHA and recruit new members.
