Drakes Traders donates $5K to MALE non-profit

Drakes Traders Ltd has announced its seasonal donation of $5,000 to Mentoring Anointed Leaders Everywhere (MALE) BVI.

The hardware store highlighted the positive impact of MALE BVI’s work in the community as the driving force behind its continued financial support of the non-profit organisation.

“We are pleased to lend support to their initiatives aimed at helping young boys and teenagers achieve their potential as they transition to productive members of society,” Drakes Traders stated.

President of MALE, Henderson Title, expressed gratitude for the donation and emphasised its significance.

“This donation will enable the organisation to continue empowering young men to rise above challenges in their personal lives,” Title said.

He further elaborated on MALE’s mission, explaining, “Teenage years are a critical time when boys make choices that affect the rest of their lives. The goal of MALE is to take this window of opportunity to empower boys to reach their full potential and make better decisions resulting in less discipline issues and higher self-esteem and eventually becoming better men. We believe that part of the solution is teaching values. Lack of sound values is a significant contributing factor to the growing disrespect, violence, and other social problems we see among our young men.”

In addition to MALE, other organisations such as the Family Support Network (FSN) and PAW BVI also received monetary donations from Drakes Traders Ltd as part of its seasonal giving.

MALE BVI expressed its ongoing need for additional support, welcoming further contributions to expand its reach and impact within the territory.
