FirstBank to reopen on Thursday
The management of FirstBank has announced that its Road Town branch will reopen for regular business at 8:30 tomorrow morning, August 10.
“At the time of reopening, only teller services will be available for the depositing and withdrawing of cash and cashing of checks. Where resources allow, FirstBank ATMs will remain active,” the company said in an advisory this afternoon.
It added, “FirstBank is committed to servicing our community even through our current environmental situations. We will make every effort to create the most convenient opportunities for each client to access their accounts.”
Heavy rainfall on Monday has resulted in flooding and damage throughout the territory – especially on the island of Tortola.
