Flow equipment damaged, replacement coming
Telecom company Flow has acknowledged that a number of its customers are having a tough time making calls because pieces of the company’s equipment were damaged during several hours of heavy rainfall on Monday, August 7.
The company, in an advisory this afternoon, said replacement equipment should be brought into the territory tonight.
“Due to the recent lightning storm, some equipment was damaged that controls international calling. Replacement equipment is being flown in tonight, and teams will work to restore services as soon as they can.”
“Customers can make international calls using services such as Skype and WhatsApp in the meantime. Flow apologizes for the inconvenience, and appreciates everyone’s patience as we work to restore service,” Flow said.
