Gov’t should be summarily dismissed, Walwyn says

Sixth District Representative Myron Walwyn blasted the government’s handling of the economy and insisted they should be cast aside over their perceived incompetence.

“This government should be summarily dismissed,” Walwyn declared, emphasizing the severity of the BVI’s economic challenges.

“I have not seen the economy of this country as bad as it is now,” Walwyn remarked about the unprecedented downturn.

Speaking in the House of Assembly recently, Walwyn extended his critique to the government’s handling of critical sectors such as tourism and agriculture, suggesting that these areas have been significantly neglected.

Walwyn detailed the struggles of ordinary residents, whose difficulties he suggested were being ignored by those in power. He drew attention to the disconnection between statistical reports on economic health and the real hardship experienced by the populace, noting that help was not trickling down to those who needed it most.

“Numbers are one thing. If you have food or hay in a barn and the animals are starving, it doesn’t make sense you have the hay. Because the hay is to take care of the animals,” he argued, criticizing the government for boasting about economic figures that do not translate to better living conditions for the citizens.

He also highlighted the government’s failure to effectively utilize the tourism sector as a catalyst for economic growth. “You have a tourism industry that really isn’t going anywhere,” he pointed out, citing the lack of cruise ships and the stagnant state of landside tourism attractions.

In addition to economic mismanagement, Walwyn addressed public safety and health concerns, explicitly criticizing the government’s inadequate response to mosquito control amid dengue fears. “Do you know that they don’t have any sprayers? The fogging machine, they don’t have any,” Walwyn said. “So you’re telling people about dengue and mosquitoes, and you can’t do a thing. Not even a mosquito this government could get killed.”

Furthermore, the state of public services was brought to light with Walwyn’s mention of the fire department’s challenges. “It got one fire truck working and it hardly working,” he disclosed, pointing to the dire state of emergency services, which further compromises public safety and emergency response capabilities in the territory.

Looks like he really like dismissals. Like how he drafted out and maybe print out letters to make people job redundant in the charter company in east end just because he is the said charter company lawyer.

How does this make sense? If this post is true, a decision to let go staff is one for a company or an employer to do. If they consult with a lawyer on the legality of their decisions then that is what lawyers are there for. Lawyers give advice. That’s what they do. People could either take the advice or do not take it. These stupid arguments that we have in this place are depressing.
If the people who were dismissed believe that they were wrongfully dismissed then they should go to the labour department or engage a lawyer of their own.
We have to learn to have sensible discussions in the BVI. I also find that some politicians encourage the ignorance rather trying to enlighten the people on how things should work. Those politicians are cowards. If you are that interested in the welfare of the people then go with them to the labour department or help them to get the legal support that they need. Also, go to the employer and find out why they are laying people off. That’s what real leaders do. If you’re not doing that then shut the hole in your face and stop trying to gain political points on the misfortune of voters.

You have time to waste responding to retarded nonsense. I’ve grown to learn that some people are proud to be dumb as fuck and there is nothing you can tell them once they have formed their opinions.

The Hon Myron Walwyn is the best suited politician in the territory. Because of his lineage he is disrespected and that it so dumb and backward. He’s articulate and very intelligent and will do a better job than all others. He knows of bitterness and hatred that exist in the territory and will not tarnish himself to be lynched.
