Grant appointed to head festival committee
Trefor Grant
Trefor Grant is the new chairman of the Virgin Islands Festival and Fairs Committee, which oversees the staging of the Easter festival on Virgin Gorda and the emancipation festivities on Tortola.
Minister responsible for culture Myron Walwyn confirmed Grant’s appointment, adding that it will run for three years.
The appointment took effect this week.
Grant has replaced Kishma Baronville in the post.
