I have a new vision for District 3 — Parillon

Parillon

If Third District Representative Julian Fraser plans to contest the next general election, his position may face a challenge from political hopeful Aaron Parillon, who has declared his intention to vie for the seat in 2027.

Speaking recently on the NDP radio show, Parillon — who previously ran unsuccessfully for the D3 seat on the National Democratic Party’s ticket — referred to himself as the “D3 champion” and said he brings new ideas to the table for the district Fraser has represented for more than two decades.

“I don’t have to hide and say anything. When they ask me I say it profoundly that I plan to contesting the next general election,” Parillon stated. “I truly believe in being the next D3 representative, bringing something fresh and energetic to the community. I have a vision for the community.”

It remains unclear whether Fraser will seek re-election, but unseating the long-serving legislator would likely be a significant challenge for Parillon.

While there have been growing calls from some residents for new leadership in local politics, Fraser has consistently retained his seat over the years, even amid various issues affecting his constituents.

Earlier this year, Fraser left the Opposition and is now serving as Deputy Premier under the Dr. Natalio Wheatley administration. A seasoned politician, Fraser is credited with proposing the formation of a Unity Government to implement the governance reforms recommended in the UK-commissioned Commission of Inquiry (COI) report published in 2022.

That move has been widely acknowledged as helping to avert a full UK takeover of the territory.

It is time for Fraser to go. D3 needs new leadership. Arron knows how to interact with the people in his district. The older ones in Sea Cows Bay is afraid about hurting part head feelings by voting him out. I am also begging OJ to please stay out of politics. Last time he stood up and promised the residents of Sea Cows Bay if they vote for him he will fix their water problems. NOTHING BUT PUTE LIES. IF YOU HAD CARED ANYTHING ABOUT SEA COWS BAY WHERE YOUR MOTHER LIVES YOU WOULD HAVE WORKED ON THE WATER PROBLEMS EVEN THOUGH YOU WERE NOT ELECTED.

I haven’t heard an agenda, how he would achieve and pay for that agenda and his approach re the greedy bill. I reserve my views until I hear those points from him. He strikes me as a NDP team player and that worries me

    • Pause deh says:

Who pays you guys to run up and down on these blogs chatting utter rubbish. Up to now Fraser can’t tell you how he is going to fix the water situation he created or he did by bringing a failed BI Water here along with crooked ex speaker of the house. To fix the roads in the district, him and Rhymer designed 3 ridiculous speed bumps.

Make it make sense. You all fear growth.

Flatter roads?, get rid of the elevator?, take the land off the seabed? redistribute land not among brothers but all the brothers and sisters? fix something? have a concert? supply donkeys so people can pass through? clear the derelict cars? remove illegal strip clubs? cut the bush? more churches? clean the roads? paint road markings? less churches? clear derelict boats? water? Help for low paid workers? take money from the greedy bill? Can you explain your vision. Any of that in your vision or not in your vision?
What is your vision? Just a vision?
Another secret vision? Or a vision?
    What is it?
    Maybe think about these questions?

    • No disrespect says:

I don’t think he mentioned what his vision is but if he ran two previous times, I would believe he expressed his visions for the community and country.

I just listened to this guy ask Fraser and Rymer questions none answered educationally. I think he asked Hon. Fraser about the dock I drive by everyday on my way home West that Smith have looking nasty and all he did was deflected and refused to answer.

Parillon I wish the people of the SCB get over wasting an X on Fraser and vote you in. If they don’t, run AtLarge as this country will make sure you’re elected.
