JVD, Cane Garden Bay come alive for Old Year’s Night
Residents and visitors in the British Virgin Islands populated various establishments in the territory to ring in the 2019 new year.
The tourist hotspot of Cane Garden Bay on Tortola came alive hours before the clock struck 12 with scores of persons spread across the beach spanning from Pussers/Myett’s Restaurant, down to Paradise Beach Bar, and into the lively Quito’s Gazebo.
Whether it was the disc jock on the turntables at Paradise or the musical stylings of the live band at Quito’s, patrons were kept well entertained as they entered 2019.
Unsurprisingly, Foxy’s annual Old Year’s Night party over on Jost Van Dyke was the event that pulled the largest crowd.
The event featured reggae artiste from the neighbouring US Virgin Islands, Pressure Buss Pipe, as well as Xtreme and Showtime bands.
Below are highlights of the event
