Man arrested for assaulting wife
BVI News understands that a male public officer was recently arrested and charged for allegedly assaulting his wife.
It is unclear whether the reported victim and her attacker are currently estranged. However, our newsroom was informed that the husband launched the attack after seeing his wife in a vehicle with another man.
The suspect reportedly smashed one of the vehicle’s windows before assaulting his wife and injuring the man who was with her. The extent of the victims’ injuries or whether they sought medical attention remains unknown at this time.
According to highly-placed sources, the woman fled the scene in her vehicle but later noticed she was being followed by her husband. Fearing for her safety, she reportedly drove to the Road Town Police Station and filed a report.
Police subsequently launched an investigation, which led to the arrest and formal charging of the suspect. He has since been granted bail and is expected to appear in court at a later date to answer the charges.
Domestic violence remains one of the most frequently reported crimes in the BVI. Women and children are often the victims, typically sustaining both physical injuries and property damage at the hands of male relatives or partners.

Also be careful of the women who hide their man face or presence in their life. The reason they hide them bcuz in most cases those relationships don’t last and they don’t want to look like a clown or someone who can’t keep a steady relationship cuz of the type of guys she picking up
Ladies stop picking up low quality,low standard, stree man, party man, drug man, bike man, men who don’t care for the law, men with no morals. Cuz you will get beat down from those same type of men or worst
