ONDE brings a new era of Italian waterfront dining to BVI

On July 28th, 2026 a new chapter in waterfront dining began in the British Virgin Islands. ONDE introduces a refined Italian restaurant to the CBR Tortola Pier Park where exceptional cuisine, genuine hospitality, and the rhythm of the sea come together to create a memorable dining experience.

ONDE is built around a simple philosophy: Italian Dining in Motion. Inspired by the movement of the waves and the timeless traditions of Italian hospitality, the restaurant has been thoughtfully designed as a place where guests can slow down, connect, and enjoy every moment around the table.

Leading the culinary program is Chef Dario Raia, whose contemporary approach honors the foundations of Italian cuisine while celebrating exceptional ingredients, handcrafted pastas, fresh seafood, premium meats, and seasonal produce. Every dish reflects a balance of authenticity, creativity, and restraint, allowing quality ingredients to take center stage.

The guest experience will be overseen by General Manager Michele Lepore, whose passion for hospitality and attention to detail will ensure that every visit reflects the warmth, professionalism, and elegance that define the ONDE experience.

The restaurant is the vision of Mark Vanterpool, who has brought together an experienced team of culinary, hospitality, design, and operations professionals to create a destination unlike any other in the Territory. Every aspect of ONDE has been carefully considered, from the architecture and interior design to the service philosophy, wine program, and cocktail experience.

The concept and culinary philosophy has been guided by the experienced hands of world renowned Chef Davide Pugliese who is credited with creating some of the most iconic restaurants in the British Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and further abroad.
