Pedestrian killed in vehicular crash on Tortola

The police have opened up an investigation into a vehicular crash that resulted in one fatality in Port Purcell on Saturday, November 26.

The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) told BVI News that “a female succumbed to injuries sustained last night as a result of a traffic accident while she stood in a lot opposite OneMart Supermarket.”

The police did not release the female victim’s identity nor did they disclose the cause of the crash.

Investigations are ongoing, the RVIPF said.
