PHOTO OF THE DAY: Miss World meets local princess
In this BVI News photo, eight-year-old M’Kyaih Turnbull steals the spotlight with the reigning Miss World, Manushi Chhillar.
They were photographed at The Moorings on the island of Tortola during Chhillar’s four-day visit in the territory.
The Indian beauty visited with a delegation from the Miss World Organisation, which included Chairwoman Julia Morely, 2016 Miss World Stephanie Del Valle of Puerto Rico, and a number of Miss World continental queens.
The group visited the BVI to help raise funds to rebuild the Eslyn Henley Richiez Learning Centre, a special needs school which was severely damaged during the category 5 hurricanes last September.
They contributed to raising more than $55,000 for the educational facility.

Beautiful pic!!!
This is toooooo cute!!
Can’t help but disapprove of these beauty pageant matters. In this day and age, and on international women’s day, to still still use swimsuit models as your role model is just wrong.
Miss world is not a beauty pageant like Miss Universe. Miss World organisation has raised more than £250 million for children’s charities that help disabled and underprivileged children all around the world. . Beauty with a Purpose raises money and participates in humanitarian projects across the world and each representative has to chose a cause and bring awareness to it.
What is the princess’s reign in relation to? Which show?
That’s my lil cuz!!!
Bah
God Bless You Girl ALWAYS
