Bumping elbows has become one of the ways that people around the world are using as an alternative to shaking hands to help stop the spread of the coronavirus. “We have both decided to put down the political party lines because this one is about country, not about us. This one is larger than us and we have decided that it is best for the territory that we work together on this.”
Premier Andrew Fahie made that statement as he bumped elbows with the Leader of Opposition, Marlon Penn, as a sign of unity as the territory continues to tackle the coronavirus pandemic impacting the globe.
Both political leaders held a joint press conference on Tuesday, March 24 to discuss the BVI’s response to the said pandemic.
