  6. Elders ignored again says:

No increase on elders pension. “Appreciate elders, motivate children”. That’s the God’s way. A blessed country.

  7. Interesting says:

About $380 mill in taxes works out to be about $ 20k per year per working person. There’s no way people are paying that in income taxes, so what taxes is he referring to?

There’s also the $ 61 mil for capital expenditures, but $ 100 mill was just borrowed. Where is the budget for the $16.3 mill (4% of budget) note that needs to be paid annually?

  8. Correction says:

There is no income tax in the BVI. There is payroll tax for employed persons. Please list ALL the annual taxes and the amount that will provide the $380 million for this annual budget.

  9. E. Van. says:

To the elders, aging and old, step aside and watch we young ones rool.

Nothing for you; everything for us. You should not have birthed us, now sit your old bones down, starve want and to death.

We are not giving you no cost of living increase;no raise in your Social Security; no travel alowance to your doctors; so what if you can’t afford seeing glasses; no vouchers for food at the high priced super markets. Not even a hoe and pick to plant a lil potater. Well sir, we frig royally.

We are not giving you anything, nothing, zilch, nada, squat!

Go, ask the children you taught for 35-40 years for a hand-out and see if you get it, least a kick some where in your rear.

It is true then, some people do not have a soul. There is now a big ole hole where it once lived.
