Cindy Rosan stages epic rant over abrupt radio show end

Rosan

Controversial talk show host Cindy Rosan has provided her account of a heated exchange on live radio that resulted in an unexpected interruption to her popular programme, the “Morning Ride Show with a Side of Politics,” on ZROD radio.

The incident, which occurred yesterday, July 17, led to a fiery response from Rosan on her Facebook page.

In an expletive-laden rant, Rosan accused a ZROD staffer of unprofessional behaviour, alleging that they barged into the studio as she and her co-host discussed a resignation at the BVI Tourist Board. Rosan, known for her bold commentary, explained that the intrusion led to a heated exchange captured on the show’s live stream. This led to the abrupt termination and removal of the broadcast from ZROD’s Facebook page, casting doubt on her future at the station.

“I don’t like unprofessional environments… But anyway, as you guys know, I’ve been on ZROD, I think, since March, running the Morning Ride Show with a Side of Politics. Myself and Queen Don,” Rosan explained in her post.

Shock and frustration

Rosan said the confrontation escalated when a Spanish assistant cursed and expressed agitation in the studio. Amidst the chaos, Rosan emphasized the importance of professionalism during Facebook livestream broadcasts. “You can’t mute a live [broadcast], and you can’t pause a live [broadcast],” she explained.

Rosan expressed shock and frustration at the confrontation, perceiving the staff member’s comments as direct insults. She suggested that the issue could have been addressed discreetly during a commercial break.

“You can’t come in my live [stream] ranting and cursing me. So I went from zero to a hundred,” Rosan said. “I know some of that ended up on the live and I don’t ever hide it… I told her ‘Don’t ever disrespect me like that. Don’t ever roll on me like that. Don’t ever do that.’”

Rosan claimed the radio station was trying to secure Festival ads from the BVI Tourist Board, which seemed to influence the staffer’s reaction. “So maybe she didn’t want me to talk about the BVI Tourist Board, but that’s not my [expletive] problem. I’m going to be straight up because I’m pissed about the whole situation,” she said.

Alleged agenda against Rosan

Rosan alleged that some government officials and a former co-host had an agenda against her for years and that the staffer’s intrusion was part of a broader plot to undermine her. “It’s about starving me as a Virgin Islander. It’s about ensuring that I’m not successful. It’s about silencing me. It’s about putting me in my place,” she insisted.

She continued: “Their intention from the time the VIP [ruling party] came in in 2019 and realized that I’m going to be here [and] I’m gonna call you [expletive] out, they gotta stop me. They took my job. They stopped me from setting up a kiosk on the Pier Park… So this isn’t about ZROD when it comes to the government. This is about Cindy and the fact that we’re gonna kill Cindy regardless of what it takes. But you’re up the wrong tree because I’m a lethal weapon.”

“I’m gonna bring every one of your [expletive] families to the ground and your businesses. So keep pushing, keep pushing,” Rosan said.

Despite the heated moment, Rosan vowed to maintain her stance and continue her work. “My voice is never going to be sanctioned. My voice is never going to be sanctioned. I’m very serious about that,” she declared.

This is so Embarrassing for the BVI. Please put reputable persons to fill our air waves. One of them should of been the bigger person and stopped knowing that this was on live radio, nonsense. All of them should be fired.

When will enough be enough?????? What does this individual need to do in order for us to realize that this is just no longer acceptable and call a spade a spade? She lost her job and now for 4 years we have to be subjected to public stupidness over and over and over and over and over and nobody wants to do anything about it??? Everything this person is involved with ends with pure confusion but they are always the victim? What have we become? What the f**k is really wrong with us? There is nothing positive coming from this individual EVER, just negativity, bashing, mud slinging, personal attacks/insults and because we may not like some of the people she is on we condone it.

    Sooo in the diatribe above, there is the following statement attributed to her;

“It’s about starving me as a Virgin Islander”

Soooo she is a Vigin Islander?? Really? I was of a different opinion. She is so classless and down low. It never occurred to me that she is in the class and category of a VIslander female . Compounded with the fact that she is a home rental tenant and my impression is that she owns nothing, not even a respectable employment and living salary.
An apology Ms Rosan, my assumption was wrong but may I suggest to you that your persona and compote is insulting to the reputation of the ladies and their identities as VIslanders. Best Wishes!

So what! A LOT of people rent and don’t own homes. That’s normal EVERYWHERE. What’s that have to do with anything?

A unique distinction within the BVI that I as a nkn Black resident find appealing, interesting and unique about “BVIslanders” is as described to me,they have a place of their own to lay their head and a pot to piss in” unlike most Blacks, even generations of Blacks in the Caribbean Island chain They own property,,,so a person such as MsRosan whose pillar to post existence is public knowledge, signals the reality that she is not a BVIslander. Her referring to herself as such is delusional and pitiful. Especially because she is berefit of a pot to piss in and hires a place to lay her head when she can.

us one of her many delusions. Pitiful.
Especially when her embarrassing personality signals otherwise.

      • @@,Mrs Tubman says:

That scenario is not “normal” for
BVIslanders. In the BVI,zBVIslanders are the homeowner and the land owners. Unlike the updrislun folks,BVIslsanders are the recipients of generational wealth in the form of land ownership and homeownersip

  14. Really??!! says:

So, my comment would be, everywhere Cindy goes it’s always some kind of halabulu, so who is the common factor here. It would appear that she is the problem. You can be outspoken and respectful at the same time.

Why did the assist’s linguistic ability come into the story? How did it ad to the explanation of events? There are some serious anti-social mentalities around here. This vendetta of Cindy’s is out of control. She has no concept of time and place, & no care for her environment. Then she cries victimization.

Narcissistic personality disorder is a mental health condition in which people have an unreasonably high sense of their own importance. They need and seek too much attention and want people to admire them. People with this disorder may lack the ability to understand or care about the feelings of others. But behind this mask of extreme confidence, they are not sure of their self-worth and are easily upset by the slightest criticism.

A narcissistic personality disorder causes problems in many areas of life, such as relationships, work, school or financial matters. People with narcissistic personality disorder may be generally unhappy and disappointed when they’re not given the special favors or admiration that they believe they deserve. They may find their relationships troubled and unfulfilling, and other people may not enjoy being around them.

So, Mrs. Tubman, what does the ownership of a home, has to do with being a Virgin Islander?

Are you implying that migrants are the only renters in this country?

    NNOOTTT!

    I’m so proud of Cindy..

Indeed, she is a RADIANT daughter of the soil!

And her narratives are so on point!

Why don’t you, Mrs. Tubman, get to know of her and what she speaks of, instead of the misjudgements?

The haters are obviously on the payroll of the corrupted government, people and parties that Cindy works so hard to keep showing their damage to the BVI. There are definitely people who want her and others silence because they are a thorn in the side of their Mia doings but you are all so it’s all about me that you would rather kill the person yelling fire than the ones setting the match to the BVI.
The Govt, it’s boards, committees and departments use Government money as a way to control people.
A grown up country should be able to have a radio station with adverts for the BVITB AND have commentary against it.
As for the comments about how saintly BVI women are – you must be joking right?? Go walk around the car parks at night and see how many BVI men and women are out entertaining others in their cars because it isn’t just people not from here doing it!

Sooo you are revealing that BVIslander females aren’t “Saintly” (your description) per your observation. They are discreet. They are discreet and that you can attest to that first hand as a practicing “Peeping Tom”.

Now I know! I thought you were simply a run of the mill knockabout, illussive in your quest for fame.
