The end of an era: Quito retires, business closed for new ownership

After more than four decades in business, Quito’s Gazebo & Luxury Inn has officially closed.

A retirement concert on the beach in Cane Garden Bay was recently held for proprietor Quito Rymer, marking the transition to new ownership. During the event, Quito performed live for the last time, and the Premier congratulated him on his retirement.
Throughout the year, Quito’s has communicated the upcoming retirement and ownership change through various Facebook posts.

The public was invited to celebrate with special events, culminating in the retirement concert as the curtains closed on Quito’s ownership.

On August 18, Quito and his wife made a final post bidding farewell to the public, announcing that they are embarking on a new journey—retirement.

Proprietor Quito Rymer had opened a multi-million dollar, 21-room luxury hotel at the end of 2018, but the property was put up for sale in 2023.

Similarly, the Vanterpool family announced their intention to purchase Quito’s late last year during the grand reopening of Rock Cafe in Virgin Gorda. Former lawmaker Mark Vanterpool confirmed that his family was expected to acquire Quito’s Inn & Restaurant in Cane Garden Bay, promising to integrate it into the Vanterpool Group of Companies. Vanterpool also mentioned plans to sell the hotel units separately and lease them afterward.

Although the new name of the establishment has not yet been announced, Quito’s has made it clear that the new ownership has fully taken control of the business.

Quito’s Gazebo & Luxury Inn has hosted many celebrities during various festivals in the BVI. Established in 1983, Quito’s Gazebo has been renovated and expanded over the years, evolving from a simple beachside restaurant in Cane Garden Bay. The establishment was known for its daily performances of rock and reggae by local bands, including Quito and the Edge, led by Quito, who is now a retired musician.

It’s such a shame to see, another Virgin Islander-owned business, has closed it’s doors forever, only to reopen to fractional ownership; increasing the footprint of foreign ownership, in that tiny area of the world!

Wherever you find an Anguillan, they’re always about increasing the footprint, ownership, and the ever increasing progeny, of Whites!

And if you doubt Ausar, just go to Anguilla and see:

One in every third of them, is dating, married, or involved,in “situationships”, with an “oid”- caucasoid, mongoloid, or worse!

The level of hatred of those people regarding their “Africaness”, is just mind boggling!!!!

The horrific level of self hate and brain washing will remain prevalent among our people every where for centuries yet to come. As, it took centuries to inculcate and so it will take even longer to eradicate, and perhals even longer.
