Tortola boy, VG girl charged with theft
A 15-year-old male from Tortola and a 17-year-old female from Virgin Gorda have been charged with theft, said the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF).
It did not outline the allegations against the minors, whose names are being with-held.
Both youngsters were arrested and charged on April 28, reportedly in relation to separate incidents.
The young man, who lives in Lower Estate, has been implicated in the theft of two motorcycles from the Nanny Cay area of Tortola. It is said that other youngsters were also involved.
The one nabbed and charged so far has been granted police bail in the sum of $5,000, said the RVIPF. He will appear in the Magistrate’s Court on June 9.
In a the other case, the RVIPF stated that the female minor, who was charged with theft, is from the Valley section of Virgin Gorda. She too has been offered police bail.
