Two accidents on Tortola; one on Anegada

Police were busy on the islands of Tortola and Anegada on Friday (March 31) investigating three motor vehicle crashes.

Details of the incidents, up to publication time, were still sketchy.

The victim in one of the accidents is a child, who was hit while using the roadway in the vicinity of New Life Baptist Church at Duff’s Bottom, Tortola. The child was struck reportedly by a scooter.

Also on Tortola, a scooter and another vehicle collided near OneMart supermarket on the James Walter Francis highway. No one sustained any serious injury, BVI News Online has been informed.

Meanwhile, a female driver on the island of Anegada had the scare of her life when her grey jeep flipped over and ended up in bushes. According to sources, the woman did not sustain any serious injury.
