My condolences to the family. Can we please get some more trained life guard presence at the beaches and aquatic attractions.
While I agree that we need more lifeguards, please note that there was a beach safety advisory issued yesterday which said, among other things, that there should be no swimming at the Baths.
I believe that all Caribbean country should put a warning at the arrival lounge for tourist about the potential danger if they don’t take it gradually in trying to swim in salt water and it’s buoyancy which is completely different to lakes in which these tourist from large countries who have never seen the sea water before except on television, get excited to go into our torquois white sand beaches and imperiled themselves.
Most of these drowning don’t be accidents! Most bring the spouses here to kill them for insurance purposes! Our system here so weak, they don’t look into it! Can’t solve nothing!!
might have a plan
What a f—– idiot!
In response to Humm comment – I agree very much with that statement.
It is true, that a lot of these Tourist or Visitors come down Here (to the BVI) and drown their loves ones and go back to the United States to collect the deceased Life Insurance Benefits
I been talking about this matter and other concern citizens have been talking about it as well, but this matter is not being address.
This issue about Visitors or Tourists drowning in BVI waters or falling off boats; These incidents have being going on for many years – then their love one goes back to the United States and collect the deceased Insurance benefit.
Most of these Victims are elderly persons and mostly white people. These incidents need to be investigated.
We had a lifeguard programme..it was a great success so the Gov took it apart.Shame on you.
