Man attacks cop, blames him for Erickson’s death

BVI News understands that a 24-year-old man was arrested earlier this week after allegedly attacking a police officer at an establishment in the Cane Garden Bay area.

According to reports, the suspect approached the officer and began hurling insults and issuing death threats. It is further understood that he referenced the recent death of Nyron Erickson, stating that he intended to avenge Erickson’s killing.

Eyewitnesses say the officer remained calm and attempted to de-escalate the situation, urging the young man to avoid causing a scene. However, the suspect reportedly continued his verbal tirade, which escalated into a physical altercation.

The officer subsequently arrested the man, who was taken into custody for questioning. Sources indicate that he has since been charged with assaulting a police officer, though it remains unclear whether he is still in custody.

Meanwhile, police have yet to release a motive or any further details surrounding the death of Erickson, who was fatally shot near Zion Hill in the vicinity of Big Ben’s gas station last Saturday.

Erickson, a former fugitive, had previously been linked to criminal activity. While no suspects have been officially named, unconfirmed reports suggest his killing may be connected to gang or drug-related activity.

Ain the police arrest him when he got back from usvi jail? Then they sent him hmp?

Then the community cry out and complain about police arrest him again.

Well guess what police actually did in a favour he was safe up there

But y’all and him keep fighting for him to get out knowing fully well what awaits him outside.

    Ignorance is bliss I guess

Free west bank.. well he’s free and now in the dirt.

I feel no sympathy for anyone who supports that life and have those guys as angels when them die. Women , men , family members, girlfriends , baby mamas, friends all of y’all who crying I feel no sympathy for any of you infact I think y’all might have screws loose for Thinking these type of people would love long prosperous lives. Many of them don’t make it to old age. Either jail or death or both in his case

I saw another country calling out nyron death saying he was a criminal what did BVI expect and some ignorant BVI locals going reply to the comments defending nyron like his lifestyle was clean as a whistle and was a good honest businessman. Clearly some screws loose

Good thing Andrew jail y’all would do the same thing. Good thing people with sense in law enforcement and courts cuz nobody would go jail or get punished in y’all eyes especially my local community

  14. Just wondering says:

I wonder if the man who attacked the cop knows something the rest of us do not know??

    • @ just wondering says:

He probably know, seen and heard a whole lot. He just open a whole can of worms on his behind.Boy when they let you up out of jail you better grow a set of eyes behind your back and watch over both shoulders when you leave your home. You F up when you lay your hand on that cop out of stupidity. If the cop was carrying and the cop had given you pow pow, it would have been a case of self defense for the cop that give you the pow pow.

  15. Start being real to your self says:

To all of you that was hollering to FREE WB WHEN HE WAS IN JAIL YOU ARE ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR HIM GETTING EXECUTED AND LEFT AT THE SIDE OF THE ROAD DEAD. Y’ALL KNEW HE WAS A DEAD MAN WALKING . GO MARINATE ON THAT. Y’ALL NEED TO TAKE SOME OF THE BLAME. HE WAS SAFER SITTING UP IN THE PRISON.

  16. a lot of them says:

  17. @Karma says:

Watch em squirm LOL one down FOUR more to go and 1 if not all, will crawl on the ground like a snake. Tick tock

  18. Lawyer says:

don’t forget to add threats to kill to his charges……officer.

  19. Indirect assistance says:

Ok, I see what the guy who attacker the police trying to say.

WB/Yo Killa get free of charges in the USA.

When he come back. Police arrest him on some fugazi charges.

He went to prison for those charges.

WB then got bail, and most likely had to check into the police station due to bail stipulations, probably the one down west routinely.

Thus, giving his killers a chance to see his patterns since he had to do check ins at the station.

and all they had to do is wait for the opportune time to strike.

So basically, police had a indirect role to play in it his death when you think about it, because they arrest him, sent him to prison with no solid case, then set him up for check ins at the station. Ultimately leading to falling into his killers trap and then WB’s check in with his maker
