One charged in connection to last week’s cocaine bust

A man has been charged in connection with the 150 kilos of cocaine recovered from a rental vehicle in the Hodges Creek area of Tortola last week.

The accused is Devon Bedford of Harrigan Estate.

He has been charged for unlawful possession of cocaine and possession of cocaine with intent to supply with other persons.

“Bedford is scheduled to appear before the Magistrate Court at the next available sitting,” police said in a media statement Friday morning.

Previous reports are that the drugs were seized in an early-morning police operation on Tuesday January 19.

    Local renty owners and locals who own scooters have been busted doing the most!! (1) was the said renty reported missing or stolen by the owner of the company or the client who rented it? Let me guess they will say they was home sleeping at the time and didn’t know the boyfriend took it “lies” everyone involved. It’s time to clamp down on most locally owned car rentals and scooters riders.
